Hi There!
I'm a teacher. Always have been, always will be. I used to teach stuffed animals using old teachers' manuals my own elementary school teachers gave me. When it came time to grow up and face the real world, teaching was a no-brainer. I taught 3rd and 5th grade for about 7 years in a high-risk, low income school before taking some time off to have Katie, my daughter. I'm a teacher. Always have been, always will be. It was on this maternity leave that the idea for Letter Learning struck me like a ton of bricks. While on a walk, I caught myself thinking about my students and their struggles with, well, everything, but especially literacy. Also on my mind were the many thank you cards I needed to write on behalf of Katie.
That intersection of thinking was it!! EDUCATIONAL GREETING CARDS. What's not to love? I get to combine 3 of my greatest passions. Education, kids and cards. (Now, if there were only a way to incorporate my husband into all of this...)
Letter Learning Cards strive to combine the ideas of handwriting and spelling practice, with cute card art and messages.
Your young child traces the pre-made words so he will never worry about misspellings, sloppy handwriting or misconstructed letters. To ensure personalization, though, blank space is always available for your little artist's drawings, and there is a designated space for the child and recipient's names. We've now added cards to help with very basic math facts. Letter Learning cards are sure to bring a proud smile to everyone involved!
